The Summer Freeform Free-For-All Returns August 13th!

Games to Gather is proud to present…

The second annual Summer Freeform Free-For-All!

The Summer Freeform Free-For-All is pretty much exactly what it sounds like: a day full of super hot freeform games!

What is freeform you ask? Well, it takes many different shapes, but freefrom games are generally rich in concept, low in mechanics, highly sensory, and live or semi-live. If you have played pretend, story games or larp you will find a lot of freeform familiar – but you don’t need any experience at all! You can learn more about the (generally) three different styles of game we will be playing at the following links:

We don’t have a schedule yet, but we will be running 9am – 9pm. Games are still coming together. But as soon as we have that you will be the first to know. You can expect games large and small with all kinds of themes and genres. There will be one large whole-group game in the middle of the day. If you ever have any questions about what your experience will be like, you can post in the comments here, message Games to Gather on social media, or email

Following the games we will decamp for a nearby bar for general cavorting.

The good news is that breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included in the admission cost. Food served will be completely vegan, with some non-vegan add-ons on the side. Just like the games – a menu is in the works.

Our venue is TaborSpace. We will be in the Dining Hall. But that’s not all! If you don’t mind possible sharing the space, you are welcome to take your game out into the Yard. Outside food and drink are welcome on site.

Events like these aren’t cheap to put on, but we also don’t want to have economic barriers to participation. So, we are offering tickets on a sliding scale ranging from $0 to $30. The recommended ticket price is $15. Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance (much preferred) at

The Freeform Free-For-All is part of the Games to Gather network and adheres to Games to Gather’s values and policies. You can learn more about Games to Gather at
